Hammerli 215
I finally got my second Hammerli 215 yesterday – I’m pretty excited. Sure, its the same as the other one I have, but everyone’s happy when they get a new gun – or, at least, a gun that’s new to them. All I gotta do now is get it set up the way I like it.
In case you’re interested, the price tag was about $1800 and I got it from RoCo Firearm Technologies in Bandera, TX. If you’re ever in the area, and are a shooter, I highly recommend a visit.

And here i thought you were 1911 loyal. JK.
And yes, everyone is happy when they get a new gun, or at least they should be. Congrats.
I am completely 1911 loyal – but y’gotta have a .22 for conventional pistol/bullseye…so, much like the .45, I go with the best
Arent you supposed to update this page periodically?
I was thrilled to find it, and the wealth of information you have provided, so early after its inception, and have been checking it frequently for updates…
So, in the interest of a friendly nudge….
Hope you havent gotten discouraged yet.
Supposed to? According to whom?
No, there’s nothing which says I’m “supposed to” update this page with any amount of frequency – I do what I can, when I can and (the biggest point) if I have anything worth the time. I have things in the works, but the list is long…and so are my duty days
I think my biggest problem is ‘forgetting’ – getting neck deep in a project and forgetting to write about it from the outset. After the fact is okay, but my goal is to start a series and a project at the same time… Meh, I’ll have plenty of time after I retire from the AF in a couple/few years
